So, why are we doing this? Why are we heading off on our Great Adventure?
Hmmmm, beats me! Only kidding!! 
After a few years of living in the suburbs and ‘doing’ life, as well as life ‘doing’ us, we have finally come to the realisation that we are not living the life we desire and feel like we are no longer truly alive. Our current life is slowly bleeding us dry, killing our souls and we need to get out! I know, it sounds a little dramatic, as well as a little crazy - perhaps we’re just over reacting?!
No, we don’t think so. The suburban life, get a mortgage and own your own home is not for us - for a while we got sucked into it and we rented a house in the suburbs after living on someone elses farm for ten years. And for the last few years we’ve been going stir crazy, knowing we needed to get out - we just thought that meant finding a bigger house on bigger acerage somewhere else. Now…well, for now, it is travelling. We’ll start with Australia, and then…the world!
Anyway, we’re a family of five with only one woman! We’re in our thirties (later rather than younger) with three young, loud, rambunctious boys. By the time we leave our eldest will be 7, our middling boy will two months shy of 5 and our youngest will be 2! And this is why we need a BIG RV as mentioned on the Australia page (we kinda like the idea of getting a touring coach that’s been coverted into a motorhome). We made the decision to home educate our boys, and love it, so there’ll be no school concerns with being away for so long. We know it will be the best education the boys could have, there will be soooo much for them to see, do, touch, feel and learn! And I’m sure there will be a great number of learning experiences for us all!!
